Plane Drops 10000 feet - 12 passengers Injured

Hawaii - Flight 113 was packed with vacationers returning to mainland America, when disaster struck. A windpocket made the plane drop 10000 feet and created a weightless environment, with passengers flying around like Ping-Pong balls. Several passengers who weren't buckled in were flung from their seats and strewn around the plane like rag dolls. One of the passengers was in the bathroom when it happened,and found his head in the toilet, almost drowning in the process. Another man had coffee spilled into his crotch and was yelling like a madman. The incident continued for 2 minutes and bodies were banging into each other.

Wilma Myer had this to say - " I felt my body lift...I though I was having a hot flash. Suddenly a fat guy flew past me and took my wig with him. I almost died of embarrassment....". Other passengers described the event as " a page from the airplane trip from hell ".

The Federal Aviation Board has been investigating the accident, and says that events like this are far and few between. But a disgruntled first class passenger has already launched a lawsuit against the airline. Says Harry Boiles - " I was in first class - this kind of crap should only happen in Coach Class...I paid too much money to be flung around...".

Another passenger was sleeping when it happened, and woke up to find himself in the above head compartment - " I had no idea where I was...I thought I was dreaming so I ignored the yelling and went back to sleep".

All passengers survived, and no serious injuries were reported.
