Consumer Tip On
What Not To Buy!
News Brief

Afterbite

My oh my...and I though someone had come out with a great product. Crapola with a capital C. This stuff is supposed to relieve the itch you have after a mosquito bite, but it doesn't do diddly.. I applied it to my sting and waited for the relief to kick in. It just never happened. In fact, it even added to my agony. Now I had the itch AND a burning sensation. Maybe you're supposed to apply this crap to the mosquito before it bites you. The best solution for stings are small applications of Calamine lotion - Instant relief and it smells great. Save your money - Don't but this junk.Oh yeah...if I told you what this costs, you'd never believe it.

Man tries to Steal Diamond ring By Swallowing it

Edmonton - Billy Egerton wanted to get his girlfriend a diamond ring for their engagement, but with his job as a grave digger, he would never be able to afford it. At 7 bucks and hour, he would have to pay off an expensive ring for 300 years. But, he was determined, and when a wealthy widow was laid out to rest in his employer's funeral home, he knew that his goals would be realized. Betty Baker died the night before, and was laid out for viewing in her best clothes and jewelry. On her stiff finger was a 3 carat sparkling diamond which immediate caught Billy's eye. He waited for the home to close for the evening, and then grabbed the ring and swallowed it, hoping to "get" it back the next day when nature called. The next day, he was back at work, with the ring safely in his stomach. However, the dead widow's son noticed the missing ring, and started to make quite a scene. During this melee, Billy's nerves acted up, and he went to the toilet. From outside, visitors could hear Billy yelling in pain as the large diamond tried to make its way to freedom. An ambulance was called and Billy was rushed to the hospital, where the ring was removed. he has been arrested, but the surviving family has decided not to press charges. Says Baker's son -"After trying to pass a 3 carat diamond, we really don't know why we have to punish him anymore....".
