Consumer Tip On
What Not To Buy!
News Brief

Wheelbarrow

Cottage week is my favorite, cause I get to test things you are likely to use while you are in the country. This wheelbarrow was something I had looked forward to, cause I had loads of earth to move, and it looked like the right item to buy. I was 100 % wrong. This famous name brand wheelbarrow was poorly engineered, with a low center of gravity - this made the buggy unstable and it often tipped over, spilling its contents. The tire is air-filled, but a size too small for heavier loads, and it often went flat when I used it in rougher terrain. But, the worst thing is the length of the handles. I had to crouch over to walk and push, making me look like the Hunchback of Notre Dame. I finally abandoned this thing in a ditch near my neighbor's house, and went out and bought a 40 dollar plastic two wheeled buggy. It is easier to handle and the wheels never go flat.

Consumer Feedback:

"The first time I used it was my last. Now I make my wife use it instead..."

"I had to buy a new tire 3 times. What a damned ripoff..."

Teacher sues Student for Practical Jokes

Miami - A teacher in a Miami Junior High School has sued a student for injuries sustained as a result of several practical jokes. Wilma Kennisson sued the parents of Bill Kyleson, 14, for not disciplining their child properly, and allowing the stunts to continue unheeded. Kyleson once put 30 thumbtacks on her chair, and she was treated for contusions to her buttocks and was out of work for 2 weeks. Last March, she got a call that her daughter was in a car crash, but when she went to the hospital, no one had heard of the event. Apparently, Kyleson made the crank call. The final straw came when the boy planted a live cobra in her top drawer. She opened it and the cobra sunk it's deadly fangs into her wrist. She was immediately rushed to hospital and almost died as a result of the injury. The boy has since been suspended. Says Kyleson - " The old witch can't take a joke...it was just a stupid snake. I didn't know it was poisonous !". So far, the teacher's lawyer has reported over 100 such incidents, all masterminded by Kyleson. The court case continues.
