| Consumer Tip On What Not To Buy! |

As you all know, I don't like instant anything. If you want real expresso coffee, go to an Italian cafe. Otherwise, don't expect miracles from this cheap unit. Yes, Black and Decker makes fine power tools, but it doesn't quite have the hang of the coffee machine industry. I prepared my first cup of expresso in less than 4 hours, and it tasted like liquid compost. I'm sure a cup of liquefied cow manure must taste like what this gadget poured into my cup. I would imagine that the pre mixed expresso batch doesn't have the same quality coffee beans as one is likely to purchase in a real coffee store. There was no "punch" to this drink, and I feel that the money spent on it could be put to better use. Take a walk to an Italian place, ask for expresso, and feel the difference. I give this machine a double thumbs down. PUKE.

Baseball Umpire
sues player After altercation Michigan - A baseball umpire officiating at college baseball games has sued the pitcher of the Michigan Roadwarriors after being hospitalized for multiple trauma to the head. Phil Wiggins, 49, claims that the pitcher had "ill feelings" against him and intentionally aimed for his forehead during a game last May. Wiggins says that Bert Howick sent several high speed pitches towards his head with the intent of injuring him. He also claimed that the pitcher had a grudge against him for ruling some of the pitches to be too high. As a result, Wiggins said he was targeted by Howick's wild pitches. In the game mentioned, Wiggins was struck 46 times in the head after only 6 innings, and the last pitch sent him to the hospital with a concussion. Says Howick - "I never wanted to hit the old bastard...It was the wind that made the ball curve into his forehead". Although umpires wear masks to prevent injury, a high speed pitch can inflict serious damage. Says Wiggins - " I know the little jerk wants me dead. but I'll quit before I let him kill me. I better never catch him after a ball game". College baseball authorities had no comment, except to say that it was indeed unusual for an umpire to get hit in the head 46 times in one game. |
