| Consumer Tip On What Not To Buy! |
News Brief | |||
Ladies and Gentlemen...these are the world's cheapest and flimsiest wine glasses. I cracked the first one while taking it out of the box. The thin walls of these glasses makes it impossible for the user to keep them intact. They crack just by sitting in the hot sun. If I tell you what these crappy glasses cost, you won't believe me, so I won't tell you. After this purchase, I realize that expensive does not necessarily mean good quality. If you're looking for something to pass down to your grandchildren once you're gone, forget about these...They absolutely fail the test. I recommend a set of glasses from Wal-Mart. They are made for durability and can withstand abuse. I give these glasses a three thumbs down.

Plumber gets arm stuck In Toilet Langley - A plumber who was working to unclog a toilet, ended up being transported to the local hospital with his arm still caught in a toilet. The man was taken to the City Memorial emergency room with the toilet on a stretcher by his side. Doctors feverishly worked to remove the porcelain throne from his arm before the circulation was cut, and gangrene began to set in. They tried to use grease to ease his arm out of the toilet, but it was jammed quite firmly, and they were left with only one choice. They brought out a 65 pound sledgehammer and after 16 blows, the toilet released its grip on the plumber's arm. The plumber was awarded the Plumbing Award for Heroism, a type of purple heart for plumbers who sustain injuries on the job. The plumber refused to be interviewed, but sources say that he may retire from the profession. It seems that he just doesn't have the stomach for that type of work anymore. |
